Join Sabino Canyon Naturalists on Friday hikes in the Santa Catalina Ranger District, all open to the public. Today’s Hike: Bigelow Trail

This is a 2.4-mile hike up to the Bigelow towers. Even though this hike goes to the second highest Mt. Lemmon peak at 8550 feet, we will only have an elevation gain of approximately 600 feet.

Meet at 7:45 am for signup and briefing at trailhead parking lot near milepost 19.5.

Option to meet by 6:45 am at the parking lot near the McDonald’s on Tanque Verde and Catalina Highway, for a volunteer carpool/caravan to the trailhead. We leave the parking lot promptly at 7 am.

Questions? Contact Beatriz at fridayhikes@sabinonaturalists.org.
