Geology 402 Walk

Discussions of Earth’s geologic history and forms. Observe the different Sabino Canyon landforms and landscapes in relation to the geologic and climatic processes and human activities that form and affect them.

We walk from the Visitor Center up the main shuttle road to the Esperero Trail, then to the Rattlesnake Trail to the main shuttle road and back to the Visitor Center. The walk is usually 3 miles and 2.5 to 3 hours. Hiking poles suggested for the named trails.

No reservations required. Meet in front of the Visitor Center at 8:30 a.m.
