Discussions of Earth’s geologic history and forms. Observe the different Sabino Canyon landforms and landscapes in relation to the geologic and climatic processes and human activities that form and affect them.
This is a slow walk from the Visitor Center to a mineral exhibit table in half a mile. Along the natural path, we will explore and learn about the geology of earth and Sabino Canyon, as well as the natural world of Sabino, including rocks/minerals, plants, birds, and animals.
No reservations required. No prior knowledge required. These walks take approximately 2-3 hours and cover only one mile, including back to the Visitor Center.
