Medium paced public hikes within the Sabino Canyon Recreation Area. These 3 to 5 mile hikes are NOT nature walks, but we will occasionally stop at spots that have interesting canyon history to view photos of these sites from the depression era. Hikes will take place on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month beginning November 14th and continuing thru April 2026. The guide will meet participants at the Sabino Canyon Visitor Center Plaza at 7:30AM and will decide that morning where to explore. A combination of trails, roads and the rocky creek bed may be used on any given hike, so poles could be helpful.
