Mountain Lion Talk

Event Details

  • Date: April 13, 2024 9:00 am – 10:30 am
  • Categories: Walks | Hikes | Demos

Come learn more about our largest and most magnificent resident of Sabino Canyon – the mountain lion, also known as cougar, puma, and big cat. Naturalists will explain mountain lions’ life cycle, physiology, and behavior, as well as how to remain safe should you encounter one.

The talk will be held in the plaza outside the Visitor Center, at a table facing the bathrooms.
