Reminder: SCVN Spring Potluck, Member Recognition, and Graduation Celebration

Though I grew up in Tucson in the 60’s and 70’s, I wanted to take on national issues related to social justice. I left Tucson in 1974, eventually earning a Ph.D. and worked in public health for the federal government for 36 years. But I realized, after so many years of struggle within the federal bureaucracy, I needed to come home to the Sonoran Desert and my favorite place in Tucson, Sabino Canyon. When I found SCVN on the Sabino Canyon website last summer, I knew where I wanted to be.
