Title 1 schools serve communities where many families face economic challenges and receive federal support to help ensure every child has access to a quality education and the opportunity to succeed.
For many students, a visit to Sabino Canyon is far more than a field trip—it is their first opportunity to experience the Sonoran Desert firsthand. Many have never traveled beyond their own neighborhoods. Here they discover towering saguaros, observe desert wildlife, and learn how plants and animals have adapted to thrive in one of the world’s most remarkable ecosystems.
Unfortunately, the cost of transportation often prevents schools from providing these life-changing experiences.
Your donation is placed in a restricted fund dedicated exclusively to reimbursing bus transportation costs for Title 1 schools. Your gift helps remove one of the biggest barriers to outdoor learning, making it possible for more students to explore, discover, and connect with nature.
