1) Can you help me spread the word that on Thursday, December 19th Charles Clark, our Deputy Ranger, will be hosting a training for our Partners and Volunteers titled “This is Who We Are”? We would love for you to attend to learn a bit more about the Forest Service. We will host this training on Thursday, December 19 from 10-11am in the VC movie room.
2) Can you all help spread the word, or respread the word, that all the volunteer patches need to be the white square type. All other version are no longer approved and should not be worn any longer. There will be plenty of these patches at the front desk. Phil’s Note: You can retain the old patch on your vest or outer garment like I do as part of your “patch collection” as long as the white square type is more prominent.
3) Please attend our District Closure Orders Updates and Other Regulations Review on January 17th. Mark Sanburn, FS Law Enforcement Officer (LEO), will hosting this training from 9-10 am in the VC movie room. This is a great time come get answers and ask questions of our local Law Enforcement. Help spread the word!
Please let me know if you have questions,
